Quantum dot (QD) phosphors, which are nanometer-sized semiconductors, realize all wavelengths of visible light and have high color purity (narrow half width). Therefore, it is attracting attention as a key material of the next-generation display which can realize wide color gamut. Furthermore, the QD technology is not limited to the display field, but is in the process of evolving to various device applications.
