Displays using AMOLED are leading the future trend of IT technology. The possibility of large growth in AMOLED panel is expected. We will discuss key technologies that require development from a material point of view. Based on requirements, the direction of the each technology necessary for innovation will be presented. To improve efficiency, stable blue phosphorescence and TADF materials are needed. To expand into new display market such as HMD/Auto business, high reliable OLED devices are required. There is a growing demand for printing process which has higher material usage efficiency than the existing deposition process. The development directions of soluble materials will be discussed.
