Vision for Biomass Resource Use in Japan

Paris agreement and SDGs require decarbonized societies. Japan has to be decarbonized through maximum utilization of domestic energy resources. Under population decrease and super-aging society, biomass use can contribute to revitalization of local economies. This presentation discuss future vision of biomass use in Japan.

Graduated Tokyo University and joined Environment Agency in 1994. Since then, working for automobile pollution control and climate change policy. Seconded to Osaka prefecture, Permanent delegation to the OECD, Asian Development Bank and Embassy of Japan in Germany. PhD for International cooperation in University of Tokyo.
