Frontier of Physical Separation Technology for Sustainable Society in Future

With the era of SDGs, multifaceted reuse/recycling society is strongly desired. For that purpose, the best mixture of chemical separation with high accuracy and physical separation with lower environmental load is important. In this presentation, I will introduce several approaches to realize highly accurate physical separation technology.

Approach for Lithium ion Battery Recycling of Honda

By electrification of car, vehicles in which lithium ion battery is carried are increasing in number. Recycling is difficult for lithium ion battery, and it has not fully performed recycling of cobalt and Ni. Honda is developing technology of collecting cobalt and Nis with high yield. Introduce the overview in this lecture.
