|Due to the rapid development of ICT, platforms for utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) have been developed. Meanwhile, in the electric power industry, it is expected to utilize IoT/AI for preventive maintenance of aged facilities such as power plants. In this presentation, we will introduce our IoT/AI research in the field of power equipment diagnosis.|

Digital Twin and Digital Power Plant Solutions Powered by AI for Thermal Power Plants
|Decentralization of generation, renewables and ever changing consumer preferences changed the electricity system and a role of thermal power plants. TCS will share our experience developing Digital Twin and Digital Power Plant solutions powered by Artificial Intelligence, to address some of challenges faced by thermal power generation plants.|

Kazuya Fujinaga joined a major heavy industry company in 1981, where he was engaged in design of instrumentation and control systems for steam / gas turbine thermal power plants, installation work in overseas plants, and commissioning-related work. He then developed experience and expertise on solutions for manufactures at a leading system integrator, and supported customers' ERP package implementation while working at a major software company. He joined Tata Consultancy Services Japan in 2010 and is currently involved in smart projects utilizing IoT and AI across industries.
He earned his Bachelor of Engineering (Instrumentation & Control) from Keio University.
