With the upcoming introduction of next generation wind turbines, Vestas will continue to offer most attractive and reliable renewable power solutions to the customers. Particularly for Japan, Vestas has adapted its wind turbine offerings and latest technologies to meet the Japanese specific climate and infrastructure requirements.

Mr. Dr. Thomas Korzeniewski holds a Master in Civil Engineering from RWTH Aachen in Germany and a Doctorate in Business Administration from the University of Gloucestershire in the UK.
In total, Mr. Dr. Korzeniewski has more than 19 years professional experience in the wind energy business. Starting out as an Expert for Mechanical and Drive Train Components of Wind Turbines, he was subsequently heading up the Wind Turbine Certification Body for Wind Turbines at TUV Nord in Germany. Afterwards, he has worked for the wind turbine manufacturer PowerWind GmbH in a number of positions in Engineering and Quality, as well as he has been the Head of R&D and Production. Dr. Thomas Korzeniewski has also successfully built up and managed the Wind Energy Business Unit of Mistras-GMA Engineering GmbH with focus on providing technical consultancy services to companies in the on- and offshore wind business on product development, construction and operational topics. Before joining Vestas as Chief Product Manager in 2016, he has worked for Siemens Wind Power in Denmark. Since April 2018, Mr. Dr. Korzeniewski is holding the position as Vice President, Product Strategy in Aarhus, Denmark.
