Power to Gas Project in Yamanashi Prefecture

Yamanashi Prefecture promotes technological development in collaboration with Toray Industries, Inc., Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings, Inc., and TAKAOKA TOKO Co., Ltd. to realize a CO2-free hydrogen energy society. Assuming renewable energy, we will practice efforts to reduce fuel carbon in the region using hydrogen.

From 2010 In charge of R&D in the Electricity Division of Yamanashi prefecture enterprise Bureau, engaged in the planning and operation of large-scale solar power plants and power storage technology research sites. Responsible for project supervision as a representative contractor for "P2G system technology development aiming to build a CO2-free hydrogen society" supported by NEDO.

The H2FUTURE Green Hydrogen Project - Hydrogen from Electrolysis for Low Carbon Steelmaking

The EU flagship project "H2FUTURE " supported by FCH-JU brings together energy suppliers, the steel industry, technology providers and research partners, all jointly working on the future of energy. With a capacity of 6MW "H2FUTURE" is currently the world`s largest and most advanced hydrogen pilot facility using PEM electrolysis technology for producing green hydrogen from renewable electricity.

講演者プロフィール Speaker Profile
Robert Paulnsteiner is the coordinator of the European hydrogen project "H2Future " at Verbund, Austria`s leading electricity company and one of the largest hydro power companies in Europe. He is innovation technologist with more than 22 years of experience in leading positions in various fields of the energy industry. Mr. Robert Paulnsteiner holds a Master of Science degree in Process Engineering from Vienna University of Technology and also holds a post graduate Master of Science degree and a post graduate Master of Business Administration degree in Management from Johannes Kepler University Business School in Linz (Austria).
