<Speaker Profile>

Geoff Parker is the CEO of the Australian Beverages Council, the leading peak body in Australia for non-alcoholic beverages. He is also Asia Pacific Regional Executive Director of the International Council of Beverages Associations. Mr. Parker has nearly 30 years of involvement in boardrooms including global training companies, national not-for-profits, arts organizations, public companies, statutory authorities and international associations in both director and chair roles.
Mr. Parker served as President of the ICBA from 2010-2014 and continues on the Executive Committee of the ICBA and is also a board member of the International Council of Bottled Water Associations.

The lecturer will present a short history of the traditional efforts and talk about the characteristics of the PET recycling including a unique consumer behavior, institutional concepts, current situation and new stages in this country.

Takuya Akino joined Yoshino Kogyosho Co., Ltd. as an employee in 1980 and was assigned later to the research and development department, sales department and environment office in the company. In 2018, he was transferred to the Council for PET Bottle Recycling and has been working as executive director for the Council.

Yuki Tamura joined GOYO Food Industry Co., Ltd. in 1999 as a part-time worker. In 2004, he became a full-time employee and took over as a factory and production manager. At that time, he was selected to be the new office-factory head startup and its extension project. Fast forward to 2020, he became the general director of the Technology Strategy Office. Currently, he is promoting a smart factory project, and also remotely striving forward for a local production project in Thailand in the COVIT-19 circumstance.

Geoff Parker is the CEO of the Australian Beverages Council, the leading peak body in Australia for non-alcoholic beverages. He is also Asia Pacific Regional Executive Director of the International Council of Beverages Associations. Mr. Parker has nearly 30 years of involvement in boardrooms including global training companies, national not-for-profits, arts organizations, public companies, statutory authorities and international associations in both director and chair roles.
Mr. Parker served as President of the ICBA from 2010-2014 and continues on the Executive Committee of the ICBA and is also a board member of the International Council of Bottled Water Associations.

The lecturer will present a short history of the traditional efforts and talk about the characteristics of the PET recycling including a unique consumer behavior, institutional concepts, current situation and new stages in this country.

Takuya Akino joined Yoshino Kogyosho Co., Ltd. as an employee in 1980 and was assigned later to the research and development department, sales department and environment office in the company. Yuki Tamura joined GOYO Food Industry Co., Ltd. in 1999 as a part-time worker. In 2004, he became a full-time employee and took over as a factory and production manager.
